CMS has dedicated the last 23 years to solving the issues associated with public and student access printing. First in the area of coin operated copiers, then to card meter based systems. The past few years have demonstrated a rapid decline in public vend photocopying and the trend is leaning increasingly toward public printing. No longer do learning institutions have to invest in and maintain expensive, elaborate debit card systems. CMS developeda software based solution that uses information provided by the library's ILS to authenticate patrons and their available printing credits/funds. This "Pay to Print" system reduces or even eliminates wasted paper, toner and of course costly print cartridges. CMS also provides Microform machines along with a software printing solution.
