Product Overview

CMS provides a full suite of products that help you manage your public computer time usage and print offering effectively.

PC-Cop: PC Time Scheduling and Reservations Manager

PC Cop is a centralized system for the allocation and enforcement of time and use limits for public access computers. It is designed for libraries, schools and other public use facilities and institutions. PC Cop eliminates your manual waiting-list and PC reservation headaches. Patrons make reservations using the PC Cop Reservation System. The system can be configured to operate only within the library or via the Internet.

DigiNet, Pay-to-Print (Print Vend) Management

DigiNet provides the greatest flexibility in the industry and allows you to operate DigiNet in Release Station mode, Copy mode, Regeneration mode, Account Value mode, and PC Reservation mode, and across multiple platforms, such as Windows, Mac, Unix, and Solaris. Users send a document to print from any workstation on the network, and the print job can then be paid for and retrieved from any of the DigiNet Release Stations on the network. Print jobs can be released to any number of different printers or copiers on the network.

Vended Copiers, Printer and Microform Reader/Printers

CMS offers Savin photocopiers and Laser Printers for public-access use that charge users for use by coins, bills, debit cards, and online Library card-linked prepaid accounts.

DigiNet Printing Solutions

CMS has dedicated that last 23 years to solving the issues associated with public and student access printing. First in the area of coin operated copers, then to card meter based systems. The past few years have demonstrated a rapid decline in public vend photocopying and the trend is leaning increasingly toward public printing.

The good news for Colleges, Universities and Public Libraries is the DigiNet Pay to Print system. CMS developed a software based solution that uses information provided by the library's ILS to authenticate patrons and their available printing credits/funds.

This "Pay to Print" systemreduces or even eliminates wasted paper, toner and of course costly print cartridges. Patrons can add funds to an online account or use cash to pay for printing and copying. CMS also provides Microform machines along with a software printing solution.
